It's our opinion that the attachment style parenting (for the most part) is the way God 'parents' us... with love, attending to our needs, etc. Personally, I wish parents would do their own research and take classes and books with a grain of salt. There's no magic formula to raising kids. Meathods just don't work when every family and child is unique.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32792023.post-62267922032339313832007-02-27T08:50:00.000-08:002007-02-27T08:50:00.000-08:00ack! while i feel bad for them i do have to wonde...ack!

while i feel bad for them i do have to wonder... WTH!! *why* would they continue "ezzo-ing" when they were witnessing their child going downhill? for "highly educated" people, they seemed to blindly follow Ezzo's techniques without question for far too long. so much for that "strong common sense" they pride themselves on huh.

don't get me wrong, i *do* feel bad for them, but give me a break... the article seemed to scapegoat Ezzo.

we've never had any parenting books, etc... we've always just followed our instincts. so if something goes terribly wrong with our kids it will be entirely our fault, we won't be able to blame a parenting guru, kwim? (that's a rather scary thought really! guess i better start putting money away for therapy if they need it in the future ;) )zehavahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04678252576442015566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32792023.post-2647535538141288062007-02-26T18:55:00.000-08:002007-02-26T18:55:00.000-08:00OMG! Mind you, though I live in California, the state of Lawsuit, I don't often think suing is appropriate. But this story is nearly beyond belief. I'm surprised their pediatrician didn't take some action with the state's social services dept, with this baby so clearly not being properly cared for.

Thanks to all the gods that this couple finally realized how wrong the Ezzos' program was. That poor baby!CatBookMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08660104900215614409noreply@blogger.com
